Protest is ON!

Our April 1st protest is ON! Please download and print our flyer—#barkback April 1 rally flyer 2-1—and share it with everyone you know. Our story is gaining traction—see today’s Denver Post and an online story posted on the Canyon Courier’s website. The protest will help us get more coverage. The more people who come out on Saturday, the stronger our message. So please invite as many people as you can.

    Please don’t close

  2. I spent most of my adult life in the Chicago area. We moved to Evergreen four years ago thinking we had left Chicago style politics behind. How naive we were. The fix is in and working. More rules, more regs, and P.C.on the rise. Dogs lose.

    • Peter, we share your frustration with politics (especially politics at the expense of our dogs). Please join us on Saturday in asking Jefferson County to reconsider its decision to close the park and to consider working with the community to answer the problems at the park.

What time and where is the protest? If it’s at Bark Park, should I plan on walking from the Big R Parking lot?

    • The rally will begin at the RTD Bergen Park park-n-Ride lot, at the corner of Hwy 74 and County Rd. 65 in Evergreen, at 2 pm on Saturday, April 1. From there, we will walk along the Bergen Park footpath, through Elk Meadow, and back again. See the post here for more details. And please share with everyone you know.
